Lacrosse is an exciting sport that's been expanding quickly at the High School and Collegiate level. El Segundo Girls Lacrosse is a tremendous opportunity to develop athleticism, teamwork, and build camaraderie with peers in the community.
With a passion ignited by the game's creators, his Onondaga, Oneida and Mohawk Native American high school classmates, success has followed Woodie through every stage of his Lacrosse Journey: from his undefeated CNY HS team (where all 6 middies, including Woodie, became team captains and All Americans at their colleges) to Army West Point, winning a Co-National Championship and Team USA honors after graduation.
Coach Woodie has spent much of his life coaching and advocating for the sport of Lacrosse, starting teams and leagues both East and West. With 4 kids in town, he's coached and refereed Gundo boys and girls youth lacrosse and AYSO teams for 2 decades. He is responsible for co-founding K-12 lacrosse for our city in 2006!
Woodie continues to spread his love and enthusiasm for the game as our Coaching Director by coaching and mentoring our coaches, players and the program.

Coach Justine was a defensive midfielder for Drew University. While there, the Rangers won an ECAC, a MAC championship, and had an NCAA Elite 8 appearance (losing to the tournament champions.) Justine also garnered a Presidential Scholarship and Academic All American Honors. Currently, Justine plays defense for the Semi-Pro Huntington Beach Screamin' Eagles (the minor leagues for the NLL), who had an appearance in the Interstate Box Lacrosse Association national tournament 2019. She is presently the only female player on the floor in the men's league and is training to take her box game even further, including AHM 2021 and beyond. She was the first female to play in the BattleBorn Box Lacrosse tournament and the Men's Elite Tournament in Hawaii, gaining the (surprising) honor of being the first woman ever to score in the Hawaii Men's Elite Division. As a coach, Justine has lead the Santa Monica Vikings youth program to undefeated seasons and PV High School to an LA Championship. Justine seeks to bring out the inner confidence of every girl she coaches and to encourage them to face all obstacles head on to achieve their ultimate goals.
